GMU is providing Special Inspection services for construction of this four-barrel bridge in Riverside County, California. The bridge will be constructed of precast arch panels, shown in the photos below being placed, with wing and header walls on top of the arches and downstream on each side. These precast arches are 9000-psi compressive strength concrete with no post-tension.
This bridge is one of three to be constructed as part of this new master-planned community that will include over 1,400 new homes, sports park, recreation center, and hiking trails. Our experience with bridge design and construction allowed GMU to provide Inspection services that will assist our client in building outstanding structures for this new community’s use.
