It’s certainly been a busy 2015 here at GMU! One of our projects happening now is the widening of Interstate 5 in south Orange County. We are providing geotechnical and pavement support services to Flatiron Construction, including observation and testing during subgrade preparation in the new widened pavement areas. The image above was taken on the night of December 3 during lime treatment of the subgrade. GMU staff are shown performing testing during the mellowing period.
