Breaking Ground with GMU

Dana Point Harbor Landside Project Begins!

GMU's CEO Greg Silver and Project Engineer/Manager Scott Ward were thrilled to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the Dana Point Harbor Revitalization Commercial Core on February 7th. GMU started working on the overall project in 2011 with the County of Orange. For the last seven years, we've been privileged to work on this commercial core project alongside esteemed design team members like SMS Architects, Tait and Associates, and Wright Structural Engineers.

At GMU, we take immense pride in being the geotechnical engineer for such a significant endeavor. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Burnam Ward Properties for entrusting us with this vital Orange County project, which holds profound implications for the entire community. Being part of this historic project right in our backyard is truly gratifying.

Special recognition is due to one of GMU's invaluable team members, Dave Atkinson, whose unwavering dedication was pivotal in reaching this milestone. We're excited to contribute to the transformation of Dana Point Harbor and look forward to witnessing its positive impact for generations to come.
