Rough grading is a crucial initial step in construction, establishing the “foundation” for all subsequent phases. Observation and testing services during the grading process are critical in developing an adequately prepared subgrade for the construction of the parking structure and associated improvements. At the Harbor, high groundwater conditions limited corrective grading to that which would only support at-grade improvements (i.e slabs, flatwork, pavement, etc.)
Grading sets the stage for the entire construction project. Our approach to grading observation, and testing helps create a subgrade that will perform as intended. We are committed to delivering excellence from the ground up.
