3 Principals. 50 years of Service. Over 5000 Regional Successes.
Not all geotechnical engineering firms are created the same. GMU Geotechnical has built a reputation over the past 50 years as a trusted consultant for some of the most challenging and recognizable construction projects across Southern California because we do things a little differently.
GMU Difference
Client history and retention attest to GMU’s commitment to service excellence. Our 50 years of service excellence has been recognized by over 50 awards and special recognition, while also providing on-time/on-budget performance. GMU understands that true success of any project is measured by client satisfaction. These awards serve as testimony of GMU’s ability to meet the efficiencies and functionality our clients expect and deserve. Acknowledgement of our achievements has come from national organizations such as CELSOC to regional ones such as CalGeo and local chapters of ASCE. We are continually ranked by the County of Orange as one of the top geotechnical consulting firms in Orange County.
Although anchored in Orange County, GMU’s project experience and expertise extend to all areas of Southern California — from projects in San Diego to the Inland Empire and Santa Barbara. Outside the region we have projects extending from the Bay Area and Sacramento to Nevada and Utah. This experience has allowed us to gain the regional knowledge and expertise needed to hit the ground running without costly learning curves.
GMU has been committed to a core set of values since 1967. And while our name has morphed through the years to recognize our growing expertise and changing leadership, we have never lost sight of our dedication to pro-active service, innovation and commitment to our clients.
