Foundation Engineering
GMU’s engineers regularly provide analysis during the design of foundations on sites with soils issues including liquefaction, compressible and collapsible soils, expansive soils, fill/bedrock transitions, and deep fills. Our engineers have provided strategic and cost-effective recommendations for all types of foundation and sub-grade improvement options, leading to successful development in some of the most challenging conditions. |

Structural Design and Landslide Stabilization
GMU provides design services and construction-observation services for support structures associated with land development and landslides, including retaining walls, MSE walls, tiebacks and shoring. |

Pavement Design/Evaluation
GMU designs pavement plans for new construction and evaluates new and existing pavements to determine structural stability. Services include pavement coring, deflection-analyses interpretation, R-value testing and overall structural evaluation. |
