GMU has evaluated groundwater conditions for a variety of projects ranging from large-scale EIR studies to single-familty forensic investigations. Our staff is experienced in installing monitoring wells, collecting groundwater data, and modelling groundwater flow patterns.
The Ranch Plan, Orange County
Client: Rancho Mission Viejo Co.
GMU conducted a long-term groundwater study for the Rancho Mission Viejo Company during the planning for its Ranch Plan proposed community in South Orange County. GMU drilled and installed more than 60 monitoring wells, installed pneumatic piezometers and data loggers, and regularly monitored groundwater levels and water chemistry on and near the site. Studies were conducted in Chiquita, Gobernadora and Christianitos canyons and within the San Juan Creek and San Mateo Creek watersheds. |
