Transportation Projects
GMU has overseen geotechnical work for numerous major Southern California transportation projects including the Laguna Niguel Metrolink Station and several arterial roadways throughout Orange County, including the widening of Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano, the La Pata Gap extension in San Clemente and Antonio Parkway through Ladera Ranch. GMU has also performed geotechnical engineering and design services for more than 30 bridges in Orange and Los Angeles counties, including ones along Crown Valley and Antonio Parkway near Mission Viejo.
South Orange County Bridges, Orange County
GMU has provided foundation reports and materials testing and worked closely with designers and structural engineers during the planning and construction of numerous major bridges in South Orange County. GMU has assisted with both new bridge construction and retrofits of existing bridges, including the Crown Valley bridge over Arroyo Trabuco, Antonio Parkway and Ortega Highway bridges over San Juan Creek, and bridges on Bake Parkway and Lake Forest Drive. |
