Transportation Projects
GMU has overseen geotechnical work for numerous major Southern California transportation projects including the Laguna Niguel Metrolink Station and several arterial roadways throughout Orange County, including the widening of Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano, the La Pata Gap extension in San Clemente and Antonio Parkway through Ladera Ranch. GMU has also performed geotechnical engineering and design services for more than 30 bridges in Orange and Los Angeles counties, including ones along Crown Valley and Antonio Parkway near Mission Viejo.
Sand Canyon Avenue, Irvine

GMU provided a geotechnical investigation and pavement analysis for the widening of a three-mile portion Sand Canyon Avenue in Irvine, and then provided geotechnical and pavement testing and observations during construction. The project also included street realignment as well as new utilities. |
