Transportation Projects

GMU has overseen geotechnical work for numerous major Southern California transportation projects including the Laguna Niguel Metrolink Station and several arterial roadways throughout Orange County, including the widening of Ortega Highway in San Juan Capistrano, the La Pata Gap extension in San Clemente and Antonio Parkway through Ladera Ranch. GMU has also performed geotechnical engineering and design services for more than 30 bridges in Orange and Los Angeles counties, including ones along Crown Valley and Antonio Parkway near Mission Viejo.

Dana Point Pedestrian Bridge

The Dana Point Pedestrian Bridge was a major part of the PCH Traffic Congestion Relief Project. This project included numerous street improvements in addition to the award-winning pedestrian bridge that spans Pacific Coast Highway. GMU provided investigation, design, and construction services, including inspection and testing during grading and construction.
