GMU has served as the lead geotechnical engineering firm for the planning, design, grading and construction of numerous award-winning master-planned communities. Some of our recognizable projects include Ladera Ranch, Talega, Newport Coast, Rancho Mission Viejo, Rancho Niguel, Coto de Caza, Rancho Santa Margarita, and Las Flores in Orange County, the Edgewater project in San Bernandino County and Santaluz in San Diego County.

GMU performed geotechnical studies and hard-rock analyses, and developed geotechnical maps for the 4,000-acre Santaluz project, an upscale master-planned community in coastal San Diego County by DMB Associates. GMU also provided construction observation and testing for the project, which included 1,100 homes, a championship golf course, parks, trails and a 25-million-gallon reservoir. |
