Commercial and High-Rise Projects

GMU has provided geotechnical services in the development of many prominent commercial and high-rise facilities, including the Irvine Spectrum Center, University Research Park in Irvine, and 20-40 Pacifica in the Irvine Spectrum business park. We’ve also worked on numerous office campuses, large retail centers, parking structures and auto dealerships across Southern California.

Irvine Spectrum Business Park, Irvine

Client: The Irvine Company

GMU provided geotechnical analysis and design support for grading and infrastructure improvements of the 265-acre Irvine Spectrum business park. Work included creation of geotechnical recommendations for grading, settlement, MSE walls and bridges over a ten-year period. GMU also helped design numerous streets and bridges, 66 commercial “super pads,” and extensive improvements to San Diego and Serrano creeks, including culverts, wildlife crossings and deep utility installation.
